The Star ESG Positive Impact Awards is an Award Recognition event. ESG isn’t just a trend in Malaysia anymore — it’s a business imperative. The Star ESG Positive Impact Awards exists to recognise the companies taking that seriously. The 2024 edition — the second year of the awards — brought the business community together with 64 awards presented across 15 categories spanning Environment, Social, Governance, and beyond. With OCBC Bank as main sponsor and Ernst & Young as independent adviser and auditor, the night carried real credibility. For the winners, it wasn’t just a trophy — it was recognition that their ESG commitments had been independently validated and publicly celebrated. The event brought together 350 guests and was held at Sheraton Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
